Payday wishlist

I'm sure i'm not the only person whose counting down the hours until payday? After five weeks since the last one and paying for car insurance a few weeks ago, my bank balance is looking pretty sorry for itself. However, I've been doing a lot of hours at work this month (almost double my contracted) so i'm planning on treating myself a little bit come Friday.

(I'm still without photo editing software, so I did this on paint.. *proud* .. kind of)

I'm in love with the majority of the dresses on Missguided, these are just two of my favourites. I've heard nothing but good things about the quality of Missguided's clothing, so i'm looking forward to buying a dress or two (or three..) from there.
I smelt Naughty Alice and Daisy in duty free on my way on holiday (it was about 4am with no sales assistants about to give me funny looks if i spritzed too much, so I think I got a bit excited) and just loved the smell of both, so they've been on my wishlist ever since. Plus, with such pretty bottles I think they'll look great on my dressing table!
I used to be a complete and utter Sims addict, until my laptop decided that it had had enough of me playing and decided to crash every time I wanted to load a game, so when I got my new PC The Sims 3 was the first thing I installed. I have the World Adventures and Ambitions expansion packs but really want Night life and Generations too (and Pets when that comes out..) I'm wanting to pick them up soon so I can get enough play-time on them before i'm back to Uni again and won't have time to play.

Anyway, I hope everyone's weeks are going well. I've just had three days off from work so used the time to do a bit of a shift around (swapped rooms with the 'rents) and catch up with friends by having a few drinks and a bite to eat. I should be off work tomorrow too but I'm being sent to work in London in a few weeks (so excited!) and need some extra training before I can go, so i'm doing that in another store tomorrow morning.

Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday, whatever you're doing :)

Catch up?

Sorry for my disappearing act, I just didn't really feel much up to blogging for some reason. I've been working a lot, had some exciting news, bought Bruno Mars tickets, had a haircut, spent all of my money on car insurance,  had a mini weekend away with the boyfriend and caught Potter fever. I'm now horrifically far into my overdraft and counting down the days until payday.

Anyway, although I haven't been taking any outfit pictures I wanted to show the bargainous £12 dress I picked up on Friday in Tesco. So, here you have a 2D outfit..

Dress - Tesco, Necklace - ASDA- Primark, Cardigan

I wore this outfit for quite a long day including around three hours of travelling on Sunday and it was really comfortable. I think this dress may become a 'go-to' comfy outfit and although it is sleeveless I can see me wearing it through winter with a cardigan layered on top and thick tights.

Friday Favourites

Goodness, is it really Friday July already? This year is flying by!

I love seeing posts of what people are currently loving and monthly favourite posts, so I thought i'd do one a bit similar and share with you all a few of my favourite things right now.

I'm on my new pc and haven't installed any photo editing software yet - so I've just let blogger re-size this mahoosive picture.

#1. Padlock Bag, New Look. I used the 20% off code from last weeks Buzz magazine to make a little order from New Look and I had a tough choice choosing between which bag to buy, they have so many nice ones right now. I decided upon this one in the end and i'm glad I did. It's quite small but still fits in my 'essentials' - phone, car keys, lip balm, anti bacterial hand gel and hand cream without a problem. I've used it every time i've been out since it arrived and it goes well with pretty much any outfit!

#2. Denim Shorts, New Look Teen. I bought these at the same time and with the same discount code as the bag. I'm a huge fan of shorts, and my pair of denim shorts always seems to be my 'go-to' bottoms whenever I'm having a struggle deciding what to wear so I decided to buy a new pair. These are age 13 (roughly a size 8) and they fit amazingly well. I'm sure you'll be seeing these in many an outfit post in the future!

#3. Feather Necklace, George at ASDA. I had only went into Asda last Friday for a couple of bottles of fruit cider however I find it very difficult to walk away from a cute necklace or bracelet without picking it up and taking it to a till so this very quickly found itself in my basket. I think it was only about £4 too, so a bargain!

Is anyone else struggling to stay away from all the sales right now? I've already renewed my car insurance for the year, so I feel like a huge financial weight has been lifted, but I still have a London trip for my birthday to save for so i'm trying my best to stay away from the sales!

Oh and just to finish, because i'm still in the 'ZOMGZZ PUPPIIIES SO CUTEEE!' stage... my absolute favourite little man
