Jumper & Bag: River Island, Shorts: Miss Selfridge, Necklace & ring: Accessorise, Shoes: Topshop
I don't know about you guys, but layering up when i'm going to uni is an absolute necessity, some of the lecture rooms are freezing yet others are like saunas. Jumper/shorts combos (and black opaques, of course) are my favourite right now, especially as they're so easy to throw on when i'm in a rush in the morning. I think that the addition of the leather jacket makes the outfit much more 'put together' and less 'oh I threw this on as I was rushing out of the door'. I also love pops of colour with a mostly black outfit, and the red is a bit festive to me!
Dress: Angeleye @ Dorothy Perkins, Shoes: Barratts, Necklace and Ring: Accessorise
When going for a night out at this time of year i'm always amazed at all the brave ladies wearing just a dress and heels, I always like to cover myself up with a jacket and pop some tights on to make sure I don't turn into an ice lolly! I'm in love with this outfit, and would absolutely love to wear it to a Christmas party/night out or even New Year! I think everything would work really well together, especially colourwise. The great thing too, is that the dress and jacket could be worn together for a more casual look. Swap the heels for black flats, shove some tights on and viola - a lovely casual outfit to go shopping or out for dinner in!
Lace top: Topshop, Skirt: River Island, Shoes: Miss Selfridge, Bag and Necklace: Accessorise
I don't know why I've called this one 'date night' because really, I think it could be worn for a lot of casual occasions - out shopping, to the cinema, out for a meal or anywhere else really! I love the top and think that lace looks great when contrasted against leather. The skirt is a really flattering shape and I think the colour of it goes really well with the bag. I would also pop some black tights on with this whilst the weather's cold, but it's the sort of outfit that could be carried through to spring without tights.
So, there's three ways that I would wear it - how would you wear this biker jacket?
Thanks again to iL2L for running this competition and sponsoring the meet up!

I love the Christmas Party look, would literally wear that whole outfit, so pretty. My favourite IL2L jacket too :) xx
ReplyDeleteOMG I want that sweater!
ReplyDeleteI like all of those outfits... everything please?! Especially like the sparkles in the second one contrasted with a nice bit of leather. I'm the same with the sauna v. ice bath in lectures, I always go with a jumper & blazer combination to try and make sure I'm prepared.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes in outfit number 2! So nice!
ReplyDeleteAll the looks are lovely - good luck in the comp :)

Interesting outfits so many items i like :) eek. I would probably wear it undone with a lose tee and black skinny jeans and heap of pearls around my wrist (like normal haha) with a long vintage necklace and either black flats or cute booties pretty simple and kinda laid back :)
ReplyDeleteThose red studded slippers are lovely, great picks!
